I contacted Stairs First to order stair runners for our home. I expected I might get an appointment within the next couple of weeks but a consultation was arranged for the following day.
Haneef was very knowledgeable and helped us choose an appropriate style – we were a bit worried about choosing something because we had to find something to match our existing carpet in the basement. Wasn’t a problem at all – we easily found a style to meet our needs.
Our runners were installed yesterday and they look fantastic. We have several awkward, weirdly shaped stairs but the carpet was cut to match perfectly. We are very pleased!

Four days before the delivery of my son I fell down the stairs of my home. I called haneef, he was at my house the next day and the runner was installed witching a week. Quality service, I would recommend maple to everyone!

Carpet quality and installation was excellent. The whole process was very quick yet it was done really well. Haneef came to the rescue, as we needed the carpet within a week. He helped us pick the best carpet for our home and even came to the installation. We are very happy with the quality of the product and service. When one answers an ad in a publication, one takes a chance on satisfaction. We got lucky in engaging Stairs First. They made custom carpeting for us after listening carefully to our requirements and presenting many samples from which to choose. Service was courteous and prompt and the carpets were exactly as we requested. Should we need carpeting again,we know to call Haneef.!

The owner himself came to do the quote for our carpet installation in my basement. He was very professional, friendly and easy to work with. Four days after the quote was given my entire basement plus stairs were carpeted and looked terrific! I was in a rush to get this job done and the the owner was very understanding and he and his team were great to work with. I was most impressed and would certainly refer his services in the future. The only negative point I could make was there was a miscommunication for the start date but that was very quickly remedied and the next day the job was completed with the owner staying the entire day to oversee and ensure the job was done perfectly 🙂 They were terrific!

We recently had our house renovated, the only thing that was left from the older house was the stairs as they were still in perfect condition. Our recommendation was to cover the stairs for everyone’s safety (children running up and down). We found Stairs First and they were very prompt with their service. Very good overall experience. Haneef came to our house and was able to show us samples and projects the company did already. We had time between ordering carpet and installation to fix our staircase. When we called for installation appointment they came the next day. Work was done fast and they even cleaned after the job was done.

They helped select an appropriate carpet for 4 flights of stairs in my stacked townhouse that I was putting up for sale. It was a tricky job, with railing pegs and transitions, but they did excellent work and it looks great.

I Googled for stair runner installation and called 5 different companies. Stairs First was the only one that came first to my home (instead of asking me to come to the showroom first) with samples, suggestions and an estimate. Haneef was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Not only did we get a quality carpet – natural fibers – but installation was completed within 3 days of the quote. I had bought a carpet with a complicated border at another retailer. Stairs First were the only installer offering a reasonable price for installation, and they came the day after I called. Their work is top notch, and they are prompt with phone calls about what time they are able to reach the work site.
